Another day of work . . . when arriving at the hotel this morning the plants for the front of the hotel had arrived . . . boxwood and vines . . .
And more hand carved stone for the niches in the front lobby . . .
We worked all day on the middle amber colored sculpture in the middle room of the restaurant. Divan is known for its food and pastries and the restaurant will be open to the public. There is a door on the street so this entrance bypasses the hotel entrance and lobby.
We had a late dinner at the Kebab House a few doors down, with Kathy's cousin John and his Turkish fiance. She was telling me what to do and see in Istanbul. Her English was very good, compared to my pathetic Turkish. Late night back to the hotel by midnight . . .
