Sunday! Our day off. Today we were invited by one of the Divan employees to go our his brother-in-laws boat for the day, and head to the Prince's Islands and go swimming. We slept in late, and walked down to the ferry pier to catch a 10:15 a.m. ferry to the Asian side to meet Hirant, and go to the boat. It turned out to be a fishing boat, with his brother-in-law and his fishing buddy. The boat was kept on a canal off the Sea of Marmara in Kadikoy. There was a wonderful park along side of the canal, with lots of folks out for a Sunday stroll, jog or picnic. The weather was beautiful with clear blue skies, and lots and lots of boats of all kinds - ferries, sail boats, fishing boats, tankers heading up the Bosphorus, and even one rowing shell ~ a quad for ocean rowing!

Everyone had a great time . . . lots of relaxation, naps, swims, food, drink, watching sail boats going by, fishing, collection sea treasures, laughs and sun ~ lots of sun and sunburn ~ arriving back to dry land, however we all were still swaying when eating dinner and the room was rolling . . . This was the best day, sitting on the front of the boat and rolling with the waves. Luc and I lay down in the bow, and tried to feel the waves. We looks for dolphins, but alas none showed their face today. Lots of fish and jelly fish. Wonderful Greek music playing on the radio as we danced through sailboats on the way back to the dock . . .
Kids playing soccer in the park as we head back to our hotel via ferry and a bus . . .
